D&AD put on a competition based on the Empowerment of Music. My empowering song has always been Independent Women by Destiny's Childs. I wanted a design that was feminine but also bold and strong looking. Thick writing represents being strong and powerful. I created a texture over the vinyl so it created another layer to the design.
